Family Date Night!

Hans, Kelsie and I went to Peter Piper Pizza last friday for family date night. We had a blast. There is nothing quite as entertaining as cheap games. Kelsie loved the skeetball game. She tried so hard to get the ball into those holes at the top. Hans and Kelsie played Deal or No Deal. They won 200 tickets. Kelsie loved pushing the No Deal Button. With all the tickets we won we were able to get Kelsie a pretty princess crown and cute little bracelet. Kelsie got to ride the see saw with Kermit the Frog. Kelsie likes to use her hand as a pretend cell phone. The conversation goes something like this, "Heydo(Hello), hahahaha, bye bye". She is hillarious. After a long night of playing Kelsie was ready for bed. This is a classic Kelsie is tired and cranky face. If anyone has ever heard Kelsie scream on the phone, this is the face she makes with those screams.

Karzee Comes To Visit!

Hans's mom (Grandma Karzee) came to visit us for a few days. We were so happy to have her because it is not very often that we get those Alaskans to come down to the lower 48 states. The heat is just not very appealing to them I guess. Here are some pictures from her visit. Kelsie is all ready to pick up Karzee from the airport. Kelsie was looking out the window for Karzee. Kelsie is happy to have Karzee as her nap pillow. We went ceramic painting at As You Wish. Kelsie helped Karzee paint her tile and then painted Karzee! and she also painted herself! We went to Sunsplash and got nice and crispy. Lucky for us the temperature was only 104 that day. Kelsie liked her life jacket so much she wouldn't even let me take it off while she was sleeping. kelsie looks like she is so comfy. Floating around the Lazy River. Karzee in the pink hat and Hans and Kelsie not far behind. Trying out the lily pads. Hans said that he would go after I did. But after watching me make a fool of myself he decided not to go. Can't say that I blame him. Having fun on the slides. Kelsie would get to the bottom and kind of roll. It was hilarious. Thanks for coming Karzee! We had a blast!

Pioneer Day Fun!

Mimi, Kelsie and Papa on a walk around the temple. We went to Snowflake for the pioneer celebration. It was so great to visit and show Hans a little bit of my hometown.Here we are waiting for the fireworks to begin. This was the face Kelsie made after tasting Trapper's pie. Oh the Joy! Hans and Kelsie at the street fair. After the street fair we went to watch a community play. It was great. Got DQ!?!? Kelsie got to sample some of the best ice cream from my favorite Dairy Queen in Show Low. Thanks Aunt Terri for the delicious treats. Kelsie playing Cinderella! She loves sweeping and scrubbing the floor. I am sure that if she could move the vacuum she would do that too.
