I GOT TAGGED!!!!

Alright, I will take my turn doing this tag thing. The rules: A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning. B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves. C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog. 1. I have a hard time reading fictional books. I love to read reference books and books that I feel I can learn something from. In school I always hated that I had to read so many books for book reports. When I got pregnant with Kelsie, I read like 6 books about babies and cool informative books like that. 2. Most people know this about me, but I can't burp! If I drink carbonated drinks I get really bad stomach aches. Sometimes I will take sips of carbonated drinks but not often. Does not being able to burp make me more lady like? 3. I collect Collector Barbies! Well I don't really collect them anymore but I still have like 5 of the ones that my parents gave me when I was little. I keep them in boxes in my room cuz Hans won't let me decorate with them.(Go figure!) 4. If I start to drink a glass of water I have to finish it! I don't leave water in the glass because I don't like to try to drink it later when it has warmed up to room temperature. Call me weird but I like my water cold. 5. I subconciously cross my second toe over my big toe. I think it must be a comfort thing. If you are ever just talking to me and my shoes are off you will probably catch me doing it. 6. I don't like making decisions (examples: where to eat, what to eat, it took me 3 days to figure out what to put for this 6th fact or habit). When it comes to the really important things I will make decisions, but most the time I'm just fine with letting other people decide for me. I tag Crystal and Curtis, Chrystal and Steve, Joe, Sam, and anyone else that reads this and has not been tagged yet. (you don't really have to do it if you don't want to. It took me 3 taggings before I actually decided to do it. There I go with the decision making issue again)

Happy Halloween! AARRGGGH!

For Halloween we dressed up as a pirate family. Kelsie of course could not be a true pirate without her trusty parrot Mr. Polly Wanna Quacker. Oh yes, let me not forget that hans was also our boat,"The Cardboard Pearl". He made this boat in about one hour. He did such a great job. But I have to take credit for the cool cannons, those were my idea. Kelsie is a cute little pirate. AAARRGGGHHH Matey!!!!! My sister Alethia made my costume a few years ago(obviously I believe in using costumes more than once) and I used pieces of my costume to make Kelsie cute little costume.

I was tagged...thanks Sadie.

I think I spend my whole life trying to forget (or at least hide) my habits. But since Sadie tagged me, here goes... 1. I usually only brush my teeth once a day. I know. That's gross. 2. Only the back right window of our little Corolla works. The other three are taped. I am in the process of fixing the driver's side, because I guess it's the law to be able to roll it down. Last summer when we didn't have A/C it was a little tough. (This tag was supposed to be for me, but since I'm writing on the subject: I learned that my wife fits in with the 75% of people that get severe road rage when it's too hot.) Oh, and I thought the right rear window didn't roll down either for the longest time, then I pushed the window lock (unlock) button, and it works fine now. 3. I'm sort of a nerd. 4. Millie and Anna visited last week. They reminded me of my glorious childhood: When I was little I was really crafty. I used to crochet, hand crochet, make pop-up books and paper snowflakes, bake cookies and give them to people, and I even made a really cool colorful keychain that I gave grandma for our Christmas Exchange one year. I bet she still has it. I have recently learned that I haven't lost the craftiness. For Halloween I made a really sweet cardboard boat(soon to be posted), because Holly and Kelsie were pirates and my pirate costume wasn't very cool. 5. I'm pretty cool. 6. I am on a diet. I don't eat anything with sugar (except fruit and sometimes breads). My wife and I both don't eat sugar! It started as a New Year's resolution, and now it's just how we like to live. I think we will eat some treats on New Year's Day, but we are going to continue on this diet, because it really works. Who needs the South Beach whatever you call it, anyways? Not us. Thanks to the invention of Splenda. So many to choose from-I tag the following 6 people: Mom Bryant, Ella, Elsa, Alethia, Chris, Jared The rules: A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning. B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves. C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

Happy 22nd Birthday To Holly!

My 22nd birthday was on Oct. 29th. It was amazing. Since I had to go to school all night on my birthday we celebrated my birthday for like a week before. Millie, Anna and Matt came to visit the on Monday and My parents came to Visit on Friday. It was so great to see everyone. Thanks for all the good times. All of your love and support means a lot to us. When I came home from school on Monday Hans had put together a cute little presentation for me on the roof of our apartment. I love my husband! I think he is the most thoughtful man that I have ever met. Thank you Honey for such a great 22nd birthday! We took a family picture from our roof with the temple in the backround. Kelsie was very excited about the candles and wanted to play with them. Kelsie enjoyed having Grandma and Grandpa Bryant around for a few days. She always had a smile anytime grandma would pull out the camera. The following pictures prove that kelsie is a model in training.Hahaha! This is Kelsie's monster face that kind of goes with her growling noises. What a little cheese-mow I like to look at colorful books HUH?!? Hi Grandma! I love opening presents. Kelsie definately makes one really cute present. The very dramatic blowing out of the four wick candle.(we forgot to buy birthday candles) For all those who are wondering what we had for my birthday since we are on this no sugar treats diet we had sugar free angel food cake with strawberries and sugar free cool whip. We also had some sugar free ice cream. yummy!! For girls day out mom took Breann and me to get my first manicure and pedicure ever. It was great! So relaxing! A girl could get used to this treatment. My beautiful mother This is a choice pictures showing Kelsie trying to.....well you can probably tell by the expression on her face. You can also see the dehydrator and tent that Hans got me for my birthday in the backround. Anna and Matt gave me some awesome bottles of shampoo and conditioner.(They smell sooooo good) Millie gave me a beautiful glass necklace from europe. (Which I broke on our tile floor while trying to take it off. I was so bummed. I am now trying to repair it.) Aunt Millie shows Kelsie how to be European. It was so great to have them here. We partied and Kelsie just loved all the smooches and loves that she got while they were here.
